I’ve seen some amazing shots of Gallows over the last few months, and when they came to Manchester, I was pretty excited to see what I could get.
The two support acts, The Ghost Of A Thousand and Every Time I Die were impressive, though spent their entire sets bathed in a nasty red light. Most photographers would tell you that red light washes out detail, and bleaches a shot, so it was disappointing to see it. After adapting and changing my white balance, the ETID pics came out okay.
Gallows were pretty impressive, and don’t seem to be resting on their laurels of gaining a reputation of being one of the most important bands in Britain today.
